Student Technology Assistants

TechAssist for Faculty was established in Fall 2001 to assist faculty members looking to integrate technology into the curriculum by providing one-on-one training and in-classroom support.

Student Technology Assistants (STA's) have been hired and trained on various software packages and general computer classroom usage.  STA's are available to assist faculty members in setting up their classes on Blackboard and assisting them with the use of computer equipment in Technology Enhanced Classrooms (TEC rooms).

“TechAssist” for Faculty is located in the IT Suite in the Administration Building.  Office hours are Monday thru Thursday, 8:30 am to 9:30 pm. Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Saturday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Please call 973 618 3000 Ext. 3470.

We continually make changes and reevaluate our services as we assess faculty needs for technology related assistance.
