CALDWELL MEN'S BASKETBALL TABBED FOR THIRD IN CACC NORTH BY PRESEASON POLL
Nov.
4, 2009 - The Caldwell College men's basketball team was predicted to
finish in third place in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference North
Division, according to the league's preseason poll, which was released
today. The Cougars received one first-place vote and tied with Felician for
third with 59 points. Bloomfield was picked to win the division, followed by

CALDWELL VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS MOLLOY FOR EIGHTH STRAIGHT WIN
Nov.
3, 2009 - The Caldwell College volleyball team avenged a loss earlier in
the season and defeated Molloy College in three sets, 25-20, 25-16, 25-13 in
a non-conference match Tuesday night at Quealy Gymnasium. The win allows the
Cougars to extend their winning streak to a school-record eight matches and
improves their overall record to 19-11. The 19 victories also set a program
best for wins in a season. Molloy, which won a five-set match over Caldwell
on Sept. 19, falls to 9-21. Junior outside hitter Cory Roesing
(Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led Caldwell with 11 kills. (more)
COUGAR WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS IN DOUBLE OT AT CACC TOURNEY
Nov.
3, 2009 - The Caldwell College women's soccer team lost to Georgian
Court University, 2-1 in double-overtime in the quarterfinals of the Central
Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament Tuesday afternoon at Investors
Savings Bank Field. The loss marks the second year in a row that the Cougars
have been eliminated from the CACC Tournament with a defeat in
double-overtime. Caldwell ends the season with a record of 6-11-1, while the
Lions advance to the semifinals against Dominican College. Senior Brianna
Diaz (Chili, NY/Churchville-Chili) scored Caldwell's goal to tie the
game in the 86th minute. (more)
McDONOUGH NAMED CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nov.
2, 2009 - Caldwell College freshman outside hitter Susan McDonough
(Saline, MI/Saline) was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 1, the league
announced today. McDonough, who has received the conference's Rookie of the Week award
three times, averaged 3.75 kills, 3.25 digs and 0.75 blocks per set in a 4-0 week for Caldwell.

CALDWELL WOMEN'S HOOPS SELECTED THIRD IN CACC NORTH DIVISION

31, 2009 - The Caldwell College women's basketball team was picked to
finish
third in the North Division, according to the Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference Preseason Poll, the league announced. The
Cougars received one first-place vote and a total of 73 points. Bloomfield College
is the favorite in the North with 86 points, followed by Dominican College

CALDWELL MEN'S SOCCER ENDS SEASON WITH LOSS TO HOLY FAMILY
Oct.
31, 2009 - The Caldwell College men’s soccer team completed the 2009
season with a 6-1 loss to Holy Family University in a Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon. The Cougars end the year
with a 3-12-1 record, including a 3-8 mark in conference play, while the
Tigers improve to 11-5-1, 7-3-1 CACC. Freshman Nick Bibbs (Ardmore,
PA/Lower Merion) scored the Cougars' lone goal. (more)
CALDWELL RECOGNIZES ADA ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD WINNERS
Oct. 29, 2009 - A luncheon recognizing the Caldwell College student-athletes who received the Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award was held Wednesday afternoon. Thirteen of the 20 student-athletes who earned the award in August gathered in the lobby of the George R. Newman Center with members of the athletics department, including Executive Director of Athletics Mark A. Corino and Assistant Director of Athletics Katie Kennedy, who organized the event. (more)
D'ORSANEO RECEIVES ALL-CACC SECOND TEAM HONORS IN WOMEN'S SOCCER
Oct.
29, 2009 - Caldwell College sophomore midfielder Nikki D'Orsaneo (Bowie,
MD/Bowie) was named to the all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference second
team in voting by the league's 13 head coaches, the conference announced
today. D'Orsaneo leads the Cougars in scoring this season with three goals
and three assists for nine points. (more)
ENGH NAMED TO ALL-CACC SECOND TEAM
Oct.
28, 2009 - Caldwell College junior defender Olof Engh (Karlstad,
Sweden) was selected to the all-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
second team as the league announced its season-ending awards for men's
soccer today. Additionally, the Cougars received the CACC's Team
Sportsmanship Award. All conference awards were voted on by the league's 12

McDONOUGH RECEIVES THIRD CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK AWARD

27, 2009 - Caldwell College freshman outside hitter Susan McDonough
(Saline, MI/Saline) was chosen the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 25, the league
announced today. This is the third CACC Rookie of the Week award for
McDonough, who averaged 3.77 kills and 3.08 digs in a 3-1 week for Caldwell.

COUGARS COMPETE AT CACC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Oct.
24, 2009 - The Caldwell College cross country team finished in 14th
place at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships Saturday
morning at Belmont Plateau. The race completes the season for the Cougars,
whose top runner was sophomore Kelly Ryan (Woonsocket, RI/Mt. St.

CALDWELL WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO PLAY ON NATIONAL TELEVISION
Oct.
20, 2009 - The Caldwell College women’s
basketball team has been selected to play in a nationally-televised game
against Bloomfield College on Saturday, Feb. 27 in the George R. Newman
Center. The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game is one of eight NCAA
Division II regular-season men’s and women’s basketball games to be
televised on CBS College Sports Network this season. It also marks the first
time that a contest involving a Caldwell College athletic program will be on
