NINE COUGARS RECEIVE CACC ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS

2-14-05
CALDWELL, N.J. – Nine Caldwell College student-athletes were included on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's inaugural All-Academic Teams for the 2004 fall athletic seasons. A total of 94 student-athletes from all 12 CACC member schools were named to the All-Academic Teams, which require a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher to receive the honor.

All four of Caldwell's fall sports placed student-athletes on the All-Academic Teams, with men's and women's soccer leading the way with three honorees each. In addition to their success in the classroom, sophomore soccer players Bard Skjelstad (Bodo, Norway) and Victoria Aguilera (Merida, Venezuela) were named to the All-CACC first and second teams for men's and women's soccer, respectively, after the 2004 season. Earlier this month, Caldwell College's Dean's List for the 2004 fall semester included 33 student-athletes who had achieved a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester.
