11 CALDWELL STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN CACC
ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM HONORS

CALDWELL, N.J. – Eleven Caldwell College student-athletes were included
on the
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team for the
2007 fall athletic season. A total of 108 student-athletes among the 13
conference schools were named to the All-Academic Team, which requires a
cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher to receive the honor.
Men's soccer players Matthew Broderick (West Keansburg, NJ/Raritan),
Andrew Fraser (Kingston, Jamaica/Wolmer's), Nicholas Harriott
(St. Catherine, Jamaica/Campion) and Jan Marco Jiras (Lima,
Peru/Santa Maria Marianistas) were among 15 student-athletes in the
conference to earn All-Academic Team honors three times in their careers.
Junior Kevoi Walters (Clarendon, Jamaica/Clarendon) of the men's
soccer team and junior Samantha Rinks (Corinth, TX/Billy Ryan) of the
women's soccer team are making their second appearances on the CACC
All-Academic Team.
Last fall, Harriott was chosen to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-America
third team, becoming the first student-athlete from Caldwell College to be
honored by the College Sports Information Directors of America's Academic
All-American program.
