FROEHLICH NAMED HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER AT CALDWELL

9-14-04
CALDWELL, N.J. – Diane Froehlich has been named the head athletic trainer for Caldwell College’s 10 intercollegiate sports, the College announced Tuesday. Froehlich comes to Caldwell after serving as a graduate assistant at the University at Buffalo for the past two years.

A native of Montgomery, N.Y., Froehlich was the trainer for the track and field teams at Buffalo and also worked with the football team during her graduate assistantship. She earned her Masters of Education degree this past May at Buffalo, and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Buffalo. Froehlich received her NATA-BOC athletic trainer certification in November of 2002.

At Caldwell College, Froehlich will oversee the injury prevention and rehabilitation for the student-athletes who compete in intercollegiate athletics.

“We are very pleased to have Diane join our staff,” said Mark Corino, Executive Director of Athletics and the men’s basketball head coach. “She fills an important role in our athletic department, and I look forward to working with her.”
