CALDWELL ADDS WINKLER TO STAFF AS ATHLETIC TRAINER

CALDWELL,
N.J. – Paul Winkler has been hired as an athletic trainer for
the Caldwell College Athletic Department, the College announced today.
Winkler joins Saori Ishikawa
as athletic trainers for Caldwell's 11 intercollegiate athletics programs,
which compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference at the NCAA
Division II level.
Winkler, from Ridgewood, N.J., comes to Caldwell after working as a personal
trainer for the past three years. A graduate of William Paterson University,
Winkler holds an athletic trainer certification from the National Athletic
Trainers' Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. He graduated from William Paterson in 2004 with a Bachelor's
degree in Physical Education, with concentrations in athletic training and
exercise physiology. While at William Paterson, Winkler worked with women's
soccer, baseball, track and swimming as a student trainer. He also interned
with the New York Giants in 2003.
"We are glad to have Paul join the athletic training staff," said Mark A.
Corino, Executive Director of Athletics. "Our student-athletes will
benefit from having athletic trainers like Paul and Saori, who bring a wide
variety of experiences to our staff."
