General: The Cougars top starting pitcher in 2007… Consistent pitcher who can dominate opposing hitters. 2007/Freshman: First team all-CACC… Named all-Northeast Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association, Daktronics and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association… Also selected an ECAC Division II Baseball All-Star and first team NJCBA all-state… Was 10-1 in 11 starts with a 3.74 earned run average… Struck out a team-best 75 batters in 74 2/3 innings to rank second in the CACC… Ranked 15^th nationally in victories… Named CACC Rookie of the Week twice… Also selected NJCBA Rookie Pitcher of the Week 3/19… Won his first collegiate start, allowing two earned runs and four hits in six innings vs. Mercy 2/24… Gave up five hits and two runs while striking out eight in a win at Bridgeport 3/29… Fanned a career-high 12 batters while allowing just one run on five hits in a complete-game victory at Wilmington 4/21… Had 10 strikeouts in 7 2/3 innings of work in a win over Felician in the CACC Tournament 5/11… Also fanned 10 in the Cougars’ 9-4 triumph over UMass-Lowell 5/17.
