General: Steady infielder who is improving at the plate… Has been the Cougars’ regular second baseman for two seasons. 2008/Sophomore: Played in 49 games with 45 starts… Hit .258 with 17 runs and 12 runs batted in… Recorded eight multi-hit games… Went 3-for-4 in a victory over USP 4/26… Tallied eight hits and seven runs in 16 at-bats during a stretch of five games 4/12-17… Had three hits in 10 at-bats in the CACC Tournament…  Also had a hit against both S. Conn. State and Bryant at the NCAA Northeast Regional 5/15-18. 2007/Freshman: Started 35 games, mostly at second base, while playing in 40 games… Batted .265 with 27 runs, six doubles and 19 RBI… Ranked third on the team in stolen bases with eight in 11 attempts… Drove in three runs vs. Felician 4/23/07… Went 3-for-3 at Concordia 4/26/07… Was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs in a win over Felician 5/11/07… Later that day, tripled and scored a run in the Cougars’ 5-4, 10-inning win over Dominican… Walked three times and scored a run vs. UMass-Lowell in the NCAA Northeast Regional 5/17. Prior to Caldwell: Played baseball for four years at Mahopac High School… Named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
