General: Exceptional hitter who is a two-time all-CACC second team honoree… Also provides the Cougars with a left-handed pitcher. 2008/Sophomore: Selected to the all-conference second team after batting .312 with nine home runs, 10 doubles and 30 runs batted in… Started 50 games… Ranked second on the team in average and homers… Also tied for second on the team with 33 runs… Had 10 multi-hit games… Went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI vs. Mercy 2/24… Hit a grand slam in a victory over Post 4/6… Blasted two homers against Wilmington 4/19… Collected his 100th career hit in a win at Molloy 4/22… Also had a double and a home run in that game… Started four games on the mound, going 3-1 with an earned run average of 4.87… Gave up six hits and a run in five innings to beat C.W. Post 4/14. 2007/Freshman: Named to the all-CACC second team and NJCBA all-state third team… Started all 40 games… Led the team in batting with a .385 average to rank fifth in the CACC… Had 23 multi-hit games, including eight with three or more hits… Belted seven homers to rank second on the team… Also second in RBI with 38 and third in runs scored with 41… Recorded five hits with three runs and three RBIs against Molloy in his first collegiate game 2/23/07… Went 12-for-22 (.545) in the Cougars’ season-opening four-game trip to Myrtle Beach 2/23-25… Drove in the game-winning run with two out in the bottom of the ninth to defeat Nyack 8-7 4/10/07… Also had the game-winning hit in the top of the ninth of a 2-1 win at Wilmington 4/21/07… Had four RBI vs. Concordia 4/26/07… Went 3-for-5 with three RBIs in a win over Felician in the CACC Tournament 5/11/07… Made spectacular diving catch in left field in the top of the eighth inning with runners on second and third in a 5-4 win over Dominican in the CACC Tournament 5/11/07… Was 0-1 with an ERA of 6.14 in four appearances on the mound… Did not allow a run in 4 1/3 innings of relief. Prior to Caldwell: A captain and team Most Valuable Player while at Southern Regional High School… Ranked among the top 10 in the conference in earned run average, wins, hitting, home runs and hits as a senior.
