GOLF TEAM BEGINS SPRING SEASON AT WILMINGTON INVITE

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College golf team opened the 2006
spring season with a fourth-place finish at the Wilmington College
Spring Invitational, a two-day event that concluded on Monday. Freshman
Chris Parker (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial), left, led the Cougars with a
two-round total of 167 to finish in ninth place.
Parker followed up a first-round score of 88 with a 79 on Monday, the
fourth-lowest score of the day. Freshmen Joshua Cohen (Egg Harbor
Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) and Noah Fessler (Metuchen,
NJ/Metuchen) placed 17th and 18th, respectively in thier first action of
the spring, while junior Bard Skjelstad (Bodo, Norway) took 20th.
The Cougars return to the links on Tuesday, Mar. 28 for a dual meet
against Holy Family University in Philadelphia, Pa.
