Head
Coach Mike Andrusin
East Stroudsburg '90
Fourth season
Mike Andrusin is in his fourth season as the head golf coach at
Caldwell College. In Andrusin's short time at Caldwell, the golf program
has shown steady improvement from a 10th place showing at the 2007
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship to seventh in
2008 to fifth last season. The 2009 season saw two Cougar golfers
place in the top 10 at the CACC Championship to earn all-conference
honors, and one golfer, Daniel Garcia, receive an invitation
to the NCAA Super Regional. Garcia is the first Caldwell golfer to
participate in a NCAA Regional event.
Andrusin, who currently serves as the Director of Golf
Instruction with the Morris County Park Commission, brings over 10 years
of golf instruction to the Cougar golf program. He also was the Head
Golf Pro and Director of Golf at High Bridge Hills Golf Club in
Hunterdon County. Andrusin began his career in golf as the assistant
golf pro at New Jersey National in Basking Ridge, N.J., where he was
involved with the opening of that course in 1997. He worked at New
Jersey National from 1997 to 2003.
A native of Pompton Lakes, N.J., Andrusin has been a member of the
Professional Golf Association since 2001. He is actively involved with
the New Jersey PGA, serving on the Growth of the Game and Public
Relations committees. Andrusin is a 1990 graduate of East Stroudsburg
University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Recreation. He
currently lives in Hackettstown, N.J., with his wife Kimberly and their
two sons.
