KELLY RECEIVES CACC WEEKLY HONOR

N.J. - Junior guard
Mark Kelly (Oakhurst, NJ/Oakhurst) was named the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference men's basketball Player of the Week, the league
announced today. Kelly is the first Cougar men's basketball player to
receive the conference's weekly honor this season.
Kelly came off the bench to score 18 points in just 17 minutes of play
in the Cougars' 77-66 loss to Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y., on
Saturday. Kelly, who has made 58.1 percent of his three-point field goal
attempts this season, went 3-of-5 from beyond the arc against the
Setters. He also grabbed four rebounds and made 7-of-8 from the free
throw line. For the season, Kelly is second on the team with 10.7 points
per game.
Kelly and the Cougars (2-7 overall, 2-2 CACC) host No. 22 St. Anselm
College tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the George R. Newman Center.
