  • Expected to bolster the Cougars' frontcourt and provide a defensive presence in the paint
  • Transferred from the University of West Georgia
  • Played in 11 games for the Braves, an NCAA Tournament team last season

CORINO ON SHAHEED: "Tariq is an athletic player who will have to help us in the frontcourt. Once he adjusts and becomes comfortable with our system, he can be a contributor. He's also a very nice young man and we are glad to have him join our program as a transfer student."
