CALDWELL TO HOST COMMERCE BANK COUGAR CLASSIC THIS
WEEKEND

 CALDWELL, N.J. - Come out to the George R. Newman Center on the campus
of Caldwell College for exciting men's college basketball action as the
Cougars host the Commerce Bank Cougar Classic on Dec. 2-3. Caldwell and
Bloomfield College from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference will
be taking on a pair of East Coast Conference teams in Dowling College
and Mercy College in the tournament.
The Commerce Bank Cougar Classic begins on Saturday with the Cougars
playing Mercy at 2:00 p.m., followed by Bloomfield against Dowling at
4:00 p.m. Sunday's slate has Bloomfield facing Mercy at 1:00 p.m., with
Caldwell and Dowling wrapping up the tournament at 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. For more

The Cougars are 1-1 on the season after beginning the year at the
Colorado School of Mines Tournament in Golden, Colo. Senior guard Jean
Georges (Vauxhal, NJ/Spotswood) scored 20 points in both games to
lead Caldwell, which defeated Mesa State, 66-65 before losing to the
host Orediggers, 59-51. The Cougars open CACC play on Tuesday, Nov. 28,
at 8:00 p.m., when they host rival Bloomfield in the home opener at the
Newman Center.

Game 2: Bloomfield College vs. Dowling College, 4:00 p.m.

Game 3: Bloomfield College vs. Mercy College, 1:00 p.m.
Game 4: Caldwell College vs. Dowling College, 3:00 p.m.
