FOUR COUGARS RECEIVE ALL-CACC HONORS11-3-04
Skjelstad leads the Cougars in scoring with nine goals and six assists for 24
points in 16 games. His hat trick against Southampton College on Sept. 23 gave
Caldwell a 3-1 win and earned him CACC and ECAC
Fraser made an immediate impact in his freshman campaign, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to beat Bentley College in his first collegiate game. His other goal this season proved to be the game-winner in last night's CACC Tournament first round victory over Wilmington College. Jiras is tied for second on the team in goals with four despite playing outside fullback for the entire season. His two-goal game against Goldey-Beacom on Oct. 2 helped the Cougars come back from a 3-1 deficit to tie the Lightning.
After last night's victory, the fifth-seeded Cougars (12-6-2) advance to the CACC semifinals to play top-seeded Dominican College on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 p.m. The semifinals as well as Saturday's final will be played at Felician's Tryon Field in Rutherford, N.J. |
