BENNETT EARNS SECOND CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College sophomore forward Chad Bennett (Kingston, Jamaica/Campion) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 1, the conference announced Monday. This is the second time Bennett has received the league's top weekly honor, having won the award on Sept. 18.

Bennett totaled seven points on three goals and one assists to help the Cougars go 2-0-1 last week. He scored a goal in each game, a 4-0 win over Concordia College on Sept. 25, a 3-0 win at Holy Family University on Sept. 27 and a 1-1 tie with Wilmington College on Sept. 30. Bennett added an assist in the conference victory at Holy Family. He now has seven goals and four assists for 18 points to rank second on the team and fourth in the conference in both points and goals.

The Cougars, who are now 7-4-1 on the season, will host Dominican College on Thursday, Oct. 5, in a rematch of last year's CACC Tournament Final. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
