BENNETT, MILLER RECEIVE CACC WEEKLY HONORS

CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College sophomore forward Chad Bennett (Kingston, Jamaica/Campion) was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Men's Soccer co-Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 17, the conference announced today. Also, freshman forward Justin Miller (Monroe, NJ/Monroe) was chosen CACC Rookie of the Week. The duo helped lead the Cougars to a 3-1 victory over St. Anselm College on Sept. 16.

Bennett, left, scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute off assists from senior Uke Dauti (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) and junior Andrew Fraser (Kingston, Jamaica/Wolmer's).  Earlier, Bennett picked up his second assist of the season when his pass sent in Miller, right, behind the Hawks' defense. Miller fired a shot under the St. Anselm goalkeeper for his first collegiate goal.

The Cougars, who are now 4-3 on the season, will host Felician College on Wednesday, Sept. 20, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
