SARTORIO CHOSEN CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College junior forward Luis Sartorio (Asuncion, Paraguay/St. Benedict's Prep) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 9, the league announced today. Sartorio scored twice in the Cougars' 3-1 win over C.W. Post on Sunday.

Sartorio opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, when he collected a pass from sophomore midfielder Justin Miller (Monroe, NJ/Monroe) and placed a shot into the lower left corner of the goal for his first tally of the year. Midway through the second half, Sartorio again finished a crossing pass from Miller to put Caldwell ahead 2-0. Sophomore midfielder Peter Carlsson (Lycke, Sweden) also collected an assist on the goal.

Sartorio and the Cougars host Molloy College on Thursday, Sept. 13, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Field.
