COUGARS DROP DUAL WITH USP, 7-2

PHILADELPHIA,
Pa. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team was defeated by the
University of Sciences, 7-2 in a team dual Thursday afternoon. The
Cougars fell to 0-6 on the season, while USP improved to 6-2.
Senior Roman Veselinov (Varna, Bulgaria/Pushkin) won the last
five games of his match with Daniel Lewycky to earn an 8-6 comeback
victory at No. 5 singles. Freshman Jan Marco Jiras (Lima,
Peru/Santa Maria Marianistas) (pictured) also won his second match of
the season with an 8-4 win over Brandon Hocker at No. 6 singles.
The Cougars host Ramapo on Saturday, Apr. 16 at the Caldwell Tennis
Courts.
