MEN'S TENNIS

Turned in the Cougars' best singles record in 2006, going 11-3... Was 8-1 at No. 6 singles last year... Combined with Amir Zandieh to go 11-3 at No. 2 doubles... Made an impressive collegiate tennis debut in 2005, turning in a singles record of 5-5 overall... Was 4-3 at No. 6 singles... Also had a 3-6 doubles record playing with Roman Veselinov at second and third doubles... Played competitive paddleball in his native Peru... Was runner-up in the 1998 Peruvian Junior National Singles Championship, as well as the 2004 doubles championship... Also a member of the Cougars’ soccer team... A two-time all-CACC second team honoree as a defender... Named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District first team this past fall... A two-time CACC all-Academic Team honoree.
