N.J. - The Caldwell College men's tennis team fell to Dowling College, 7-2
Tuesday afternoon in a dual at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts. The loss
evens the Cougars' record at 1-1 on the season, while the Lions improve to
5-2.
Junior Jan Marco Jiras (Lima, Peru) won his match at No. 5 singles over
Pedro Munoz, 8-3. The Cougars' other point came at No. 6 singles with a win by
sophomore Mike Ober (Lavallette, NJ/Point Beach) over Jin Chul Choi by
the score of 8-4. The Lions handily won all three doubles matches while
winning the other four singles matches in straight sets.
Caldwell returns to the court on Tuesday, Apr. 10 with a dual against
Bloomfield College. The first match begins at 3:30 p.m. at the Caldwell
College Tennis Courts.
