Third season

He also was an assistant coach for the Cougars' men's basketball team in 2007 before serving as an assistant coach for the WNBA's New York Liberty for two years. This past winter, Hamburger returned to the Cougar basketball team as an assistant.

Hamburger received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Kean University in 1984. He also earned a Master's degree in Counseling Education in 1987. A native of Maplewood, N.J., Hamburger currently resides in New York City.
