SPRING PARK CLEANING

The Caldwell College cross country team joined a group of 40 volunteers from the community to help clean up Grover Cleveland Park in Caldwell, N.J., on Saturday, Apr. 12. Since the team often runs through the park as a part of its training during the season, the team members decided to assist with the local efforts to tidy up the park as their community engagement project. Senior Lisa Dunphy (Clifton, NJ/Clifton), junior Jennifer Del Polito (Nutley, NJ/Nutley) and sophomores Danielle Cleary (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls) and Jaclyn Feola (Belleville, NJ/Belleville), along with head coach John Tosato, participated in the park cleaning.
The team, which enjoys running through the park, plans on attending the spring cleanup each year.
