KISSIMMEE,
Fla. - Fielding miscues and offensive struggles led to two shutout losses
for the Caldwell College softball team at the Rebel Spring Games on Sunday
at the Osceola County Softball Complex. The defeats drop the Cougars, ranked

In today's first game against ninth-ranked Lock Haven University, the

hits, including a two-run homer from Ilia Lopez, then rode the arm of
pitcher Kristin Erb, who struck out five and walked none to earn the
shutout. Senior Jessica Saunders (Glen Burnie, MD/Archbishop
Spaulding) took the loss, allowing five hits and five unearned runs in five
innings. Freshman pitcher Ceci Goforth (Houston, TX/St. Agnes

five-run sixth inning that broke open a scoreless game. Junior pitcher
