CALDWELL, N.J. - Freshman Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton,

The second game started the same as the first, with Caldwell jumping out to
a big lead early. A single by senior Jackie Velardi (Belleville,
NJ/Belleville) brought home Bodrog to start the scoring in the first. After
Longone walked with the bases loaded to make the score 2-0, freshman
Kyrie Timbrook (Log Gatos, CA/Los Gatos), left, hit a two-run double to right
to put Caldwell ahead 4-0. Senior Desiree Wilson (Gloucester, NJ/Cloucester
Catholic) also had an RBI single in the inning that made it 5-0 after the

choice off the bat of Timbrook for a 7-0 lead. Then in the third, Velardi
hit a two-run double, Frantellizzi had an RBI single and Timbrook plated
another run on a groundout for her fourth RBI of the game to put Caldwell up
11-0.
Run-scoring singles by Bridget Mount and Kim Narkiewicz in the top of the
fourth made it 11-2 Caldwell. But the Cougars restored their lead with four
more runs in the bottom of the fourth. Senior Danielle Payne
(Jamesburg, NJ/Monroe Twp.) and freshman Danielle Genovese
(Livingston, NJ/Livingston) each had RBI triples, with Frantellizzi knocking
in her sixth run of the day with a single to left.
