WEBB EARNS THIRD CACC WEEKLY HONOR

CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College senior Nicole Webb (Toms River, NJ/Manchester Twp.) was chosen the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending Apr. 29, the league announced today. This is the third time that Webb has received the conference's Pitcher of the Week award this season.

Webb went the distance in all four games last week, including three extra-inning contests. She struck out a season-high 12 batters in a 3-1 victory in eight innings at Post University on Apr. 24. Webb also fanned eight while allowing five hits and one run in eight innings in a 2-1 triumph over Molloy College on Apr. 26. In the Cougars' 2-0 loss to ninth-ranked C.W. Post Apr. 23, Webb held the Pioneers to two runs (one earned) in seven innings.

Webb and the Cougars play in the CACC Tournament on Thursday, May 2. Caldwell, seeded second, will face the winner of the Wilmington/Felician game at 2:00 p.m. at Harry Rash Field in Wall, N.J.
