#15 Brittany Pulido Sophomore - Pitcher Ojai, CA Nordhoff High School Major: Business Administration

 

General: Experienced pitcher with excellent control… Was Caldwell’s top pitcher in her first season. 2008/Freshman: Named to the all-CACC second team after going 18-8 with an earned-run average of 2.10… Walked just 20 batters in 169 2/3 innings to rank 12^th nationally in walks per seven innings (0.82)… Tallied 82 strikeouts… Tossed three-hit shutout to blank No. 5-ranked Lock Haven, 3-0 in her first collegiate start 3/15… Shut out New Haven on two hits 3/17… Also shut out CACC foes Nyack, USP and Wilmington… Pitched a three-hit shutout against Georgian Court in the semifinals of the CACC Tournament 5/2… Picked up victories over GCU and Adelphi in the NCAA Northeast Regional 5/6-10. Prior to Caldwell: A three-time first team all-league pitcher at Nordhoff High School… Named her team’s best offensive player as a junior and served as a team captain her senior year… Inducted into Nordhoff’s Wall of Fame last spring...
