RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost to Felician
College in three games in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match
Thursday night at Job Gym. The Golden Falcons outscored the Cougars 30-19,
30-15 and 30-20 to improve to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the CACC. Caldwell
drops to 0-2 overall and in the conference.
Junior Phylicia Holmes (Roselle, NJ/Roselle) and senior Amy Ransom
(Chattanooga, TN/Notre Dame) led the Cougars offensively with seven and six
kills, respectively, while sophomore setter Laura Ciesla (Chicago,
IL/Lane Tech) recorded a team-high nine assists. Ransom also paced Caldwell
with 13 digs, with sophomore libero Laura DiVico (Hackensack,
NJ/Hackensack) recording six digs. LaKeisha Milstrey led all players with 16
kills and a .519 hitting percentage, while Nicole Degenhardt had 21 assists.
Next up for Caldwell is a home match against CACC foe Georgian Court
University on Saturday, Sept. 16. The first serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
in the George R. Newman Center.
