RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a Central
Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at Felician College, 30-22, 30-24,
30-18 Thursday evening. With the loss, the Cougars drop to 1-19 on the
season, including a 1-8 mark in the conference. The Golden Falcons, which
lost to Caldwell on Sept. 25, are now 3-15 overall and 3-6 in the CACC.
Freshman Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led Caldwell with 19
kills, while classmate Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.)
recorded 34 assists to pace the offense. Defensively, junior Laura Ciesla
(Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) had 12 digs. Dee Dee Smith tallied 22 kills and
Keisha Milstrey had 17 kills to lead Felician, which moved into fourth place
in the CACC North Division.
The Cougars host the University of the Sciences in another CACC match on
Saturday, Oct. 13. The match is set to start at 12:00 p.m. in the George R.
Newman Center.
