COUGAR VOLLEYBALL TO HOST NYACK IN CACC TOURNEY NOV. 10

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team begins play at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 10 with a quarterfinal match against fourth-seeded Nyack College in the George R. Newman Center. The Cougars, coached by Megan Hrbek, earned the top seed in the CACC North Division with a 16-3 record in league play. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m.

This is the second year in a row that the Cougars (20-11 overall) will face the Warriors (10-12 overall, 9-10 CACC) in the first round of the conference tournament, as Caldwell defeated Nyack in four sets last season. This year Caldwell took both matches from Nyack in three sets. This is the first 20-win season in the history of the program for the Cougars, who have won their past nine matches.

The semifinals and finals of the CACC Tournament will be held at  Georgian Court University Nov. 13-14 in Lakewood, N.J. The host Lions are the three-time defending CACC champions.

Game 3: (S4) USP at (S1) Georgian Court, 7 pm
Game 4: (S3) Holy Family at (S2) Philadelphia, 7 pm

Semifinals, Friday, Nov. 13 (at Georgian Court), 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
