MCDONOUGH REPEATS AS CACC VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

N.J. - For the second week in a row, Caldwell College freshman outside hitter Susan McDonough
(Saline, MI/Saline) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference
Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 8, the league
announced today. In a pair of wins last week, McDonough averaged 4.33 kills,
4.17 digs and 1.0 service aces per set.
McDonough registered nine kills, 14 digs and four
aces in a three-set sweep of non-conference foe Molloy College on Nov. 3.
Then in the regular-season finale at Chestnut Hill on Nov. 7, she tallied 17
kills, 11 digs and two aces to help the Cougars defeat the Griffins in three
sets and clinch their second CACC North Division title in as many years. For
the week, McDonough recorded a hitting percentage of .283.
McDonough and the Cougars, who have
a nine-match winning streak, host Nyack College in the quarterfinals of the
CACC Tournament tonight. The match is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. in the
George R. Newman Center.
