COUGARS DEFEAT LIGHTNING TO END SEASON

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team wrapped up the 2007 season with a victory over Goldey-Beacom College, 30-25, 30-20, 26-30, 30-8 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate conference match Saturday afternoon in the George R. Newman Center. The win, which was the Cougars' third in their last five matches, improves their overall record to 4-24, including a 4-13 mark in the CACC. The Lightning end their season at 4-25, 3-15 CACC.

Caldwell hit .227 for the match, including a .370 hitting percentage with 20 kills in Game 4. Leading the way was freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham), who hit .405 with 18 kills against just one error. Freshmen Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) and Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) also excelled offensively with 23 and 17 kills, respectively. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) dished out 55 assists and had three service aces, while fellow frosh Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) had a team-high 22 digs and six aces. She also served for 10 straight points to close out Game 4 and the victory. Junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) contributed 10 kills and 20 digs.

Goldey-Beacom's Kendra Russell had 14 kills, while Danielle Hicks recorded 31 assists in a losing effort.

The Cougars, coached by Megan Hrbek, will have 12 players from this year's roster back for next year.

VOLLEYBALL TOPPLES DOMINICAN, 3-1

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. - Four players recorded 12 or more kills to lift the Caldwell College volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over Dominican College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Thursday night at the Hennessy Center. The Cougars, who won 23-30, 30-23, 30-28, 30-25, improve to 3-13 in the conference and 3-24 overall, while the Chargers fall to 5-16 overall, 5-12 CACC.

After dropping the first game, Caldwell never trailed in Game 2, scoring the first six points of the set and never looking back. Game 3 was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than three points. With the game tied at 27-27, the Cougars tallied three of the final four points, capped by a kill from freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham), to take the game and a 2-1 lead. In Game 4, with the Cougars behind 14-6, four kills from junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) sparked six consecutive Caldwell points. The Cougars continued to trail until an ace by Ciesla (pictured) put her team ahead 24-23. After a kill by freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus), two Caldwell hitting errors knotted the game at 25-25. But two more kills by Roesing sparked the Cougars to score the final five points to wrap up the game and the match.

Roesing recorded a team-best 17 kills, while Francois had 14 kills and just three errors for a .275 hitting percentage. Freshman Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) had 15 kills and four solo blocks, and Ciesla finished with 12 kills and three service aces. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) tallied 60 assists to go with three aces to ignite the Cougar offense. Defensively, freshman defensive specialist Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) had 12 digs, with Ciesla and Roesing each recording 10 digs. Kinikia Collier tallied 15 kills to pace the Chargers.

Caldwell completes the 2007 season on Saturday, Nov. 3, when the Cougars host Goldey-Beacom College. The first serve is set for 12:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.

COUGARS FALL TO GEORGIAN COURT IN VOLLEYBALL

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at Georgian Court University in three games, 30-14, 30-19, 30-14 Sunday afternoon. The Cougars are now 2-24 overall and 2-13 in the conference, while the Lions (25-8) remain unbeaten in the CACC at 16-0.

Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) had a team-high nine kills to pace the Cougars, with freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) recording 18 assists. Defensively, freshman Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) had four block assists. Georgian Court was led by Janelle Murdock with nine kills and Ann Casado, who had seven kills and 10 service aces.

Caldwell returns to action on Thursday, Nov. 1 with a CACC match at Dominican College. The match is set to start at 7:00 p.m. at the Hennessy Center.

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team was defeated by Post University, 30-24, 22-30, 30-24, 30-22 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Thursday afternoon in the George R. Newman Center. The result gives the Cougars a 2-23 overall record, including a 2-12 mark in the conference, while the Eagles improve to 8-18, 8-6 CACC.

Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus), pictured, led the Cougars with 22 kills and a .327 hitting percentage, including eight kills in Game 2. Freshman outside hitter Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) had 14 kills, with freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) delivering 46 assists. Defensively, four players had at least 11 digs, led by freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) with a career-best 23. Junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) tallied 16 digs, with Kane and Roesing each collecting 11. For Post, Natasha Loving had 19 kills, Kerry Smith had 11 and Desere Obregon recorded 44 assists in the win.

Next up for the Cougars is a CACC meeting at Georgian Court University on Sunday, Oct. 28. The match starts at 12:00 p.m. in Lakewood, N.J.

COUGARS DEFEAT GRIFFINS FOR FIRST ROAD VICTORY

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College volleyball team earned its first victory on the road with a 3-0 win over Chestnut Hill College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon at Sorgenti Arena. The Cougars won the match 30-18, 30-7, 30-20 to end an eight-match losing streak and improve to 2-22 overall and 2-11 in conference play. The defeat leaves the Griffins winless at 0-14 overall and in the CACC.

Freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) recorded a team-high 11 kills with one error in 19 attempts for an outstanding .526 hitting percentage. The Cougars hit .392 for the match with only eight errors, both season bests. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire) contributed 23 assists to the offense, while junior libero Laura DeVico (Maywood, NJ/Hackensack), pictured, had 12 digs to pace the defense. Chestnut Hill, which joined the CACC this fall, was led by Lisa Doria and Marianne Finfrock with five kills each.

The Cougars return home for a CACC match against Post University on Thursday, Oct. 25. The match begins at 7:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.

VOLLEYBALL DROPS FIVE-GAME MATCH TO NYACK

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a hard-fought match to Nyack in five games, 30-24, 19-30, 31-33, 30-28, 15-13 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest Thursday night in the George R. Newman Center. The defeat, which marked the first time Caldwell has played in a five-set match, drops the Cougars to 1-22 overall, including a 1-11 mark in the conference. Nyack is now 8-11, 7-5 CACC.

After losing the first game, the Cougars hit .429 in Game 2 to tie the match with a 30-19 win. Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus), pictured, recorded eight kills with two errors in 13 attempts (.462) in the game to spark her team. Game 3 remained close throughout, with neither team leading by more than five points. With Nyack on the verge of taking a 2-1 lead in the match, the Cougars rallied from a 29-27 deficit to tie the game and eventually earn their second set, which was clinched on a kill by freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham). Caldwell held the lead for most of Game 4 and were just two points away at 28-26 from winning the match. But the Warriors mounted a rally of their own and scored the game's final four points to force a fifth game.

This time it was Nyack who built an early lead, taking a 9-4 advantage in the deciding game. But Francois answered for the Cougars with five kills to help Caldwell record eight of the next 10 points for a 12-11 advantage. Again, the Cougars stood just two points away from victory at 13-12 before Nyack tallied the final three points on a kill by Colleen Weidman and a pair of blocks.

Roesing led all players with 26 kills while hitting .296 for the match. Francois finished with 20 kills and freshman middle blocker Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) tallied 19 kills. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) recorded 74 assists (14.8 per game) to guide the offense. Roesing and junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) each tallied 15 digs, with junior middle blocker Ashley Cusack (Belmar, NJ/St. Rose) had four block assists to pace the defense. Caldwell set season highs in hitting percentage (.176) and kills per game (16.0). Nyack's Wendy Paige had 20 kills while recording four solo blocks to help her team to a total of 14 blocks for the match.

The Cougars travel to Philadelphia, Pa., to face Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, Oct. 20. The CACC match is set to begin at 12:00 p.m.

With the loss, the Cougars fall to 1-21 overall, including a 1-10 mark in the conference, while the Deacons are now 10-15, 8-3 CACC.

Freshmen Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) and Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) paced the Cougars with nine kills apiece, while freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) dished out 24 assists. Defensively, junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) and freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) each had 12 digs. Francois recorded two solo blocks and Pecora had two block assists. Ursula Pereira led Bloomfield with 19 kills while hitting .263, and Sonia Perez tallied 26 assists in the win.

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team fell to the University of the Sciences, 30-28, 30-18, 30-24 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon in the George R. Newman Center. The result gives the Cougars a 1-20 overall record, including a 1-9 mark in the conference, while the Devils improve to 11-11, 5-4 CACC.

The Cougars trailed in Game 1 throughout but held off the Devils for three game points before falling 30-28. After losing the second game 30-18, Caldwell held the lead for almost the entire game. But with the score 24-23 in favor of the Cougars, USP reeled off seven straight points to clinch the set and the match. Freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) matched her season high with 11 kills to lead the Cougar offense. Defensively, freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) also matched her career high with 16 digs, while junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) had 15 digs. Cady Rich paced the Devils with 10 kills, with Claire Tauschek recording 20 digs in the victory.

The Cougars continue CACC play with a home match against Bloomfield College on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Newman Center.

RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match at Felician College, 30-22, 30-24, 30-18 Thursday evening. With the loss, the Cougars drop to 1-19 on the season, including a 1-8 mark in the conference. The Golden Falcons, which lost to Caldwell on Sept. 25, are now 3-15 overall and 3-6 in the CACC.

Freshman Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led Caldwell with 19 kills, while classmate Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) recorded 34 assists to pace the offense. Defensively, junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) had 12 digs. Dee Dee Smith tallied 22 kills and Keisha Milstrey had 17 kills to lead Felician, which moved into fourth place in the CACC North Division.

The Cougars host the University of the Sciences in another CACC match on Saturday, Oct. 13. The match is set to start at 12:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. - The Caldwell College volleyball team fell to Molloy College, 28-30, 30-22, 30-26, 30-22 in a non-conference match Tuesday night at Quealy Gymnasium. The result leaves the Cougars with an overall record of 1-18, while Molloy, who defeated Caldwell in three games on Sept. 11, improves to 8-11.

In Game 1, Caldwell overcame a 21-16 deficit and held off a late charge by the Lions to take a 1-0 lead. Freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) led the Cougar offense with five kills in the game. Molloy led throughout Game 2 to tie the match at 1-1. In the third game, Caldwell took control early, leading 14-4 at one point. After Molloy battled back to eventually take a 20-19 advantage, the Cougars reeled off five of the next seven points to lead 24-22. But the Lions closed out Game 3 by scoring eight of the final 10 points to take the set and lead 2-1 in the match. Molloy scored the first eight points of Game 4 and rolled to a 30-22 victory to clinch the match.

Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led Caldwell with 11 kills, while Francois and junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) each had nine kills. Newman Center. The Cougars are now 1-17 overall and 1-7 in the conference, while the Lady Chargers improve to 3-8, 3-5 CACC.

After dropping the first two games, the Cougars rallied to take Game 3, 30-19. Junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) had seven of the team's 15 kills to help Caldwell close to within 2-1 in the match. But momentum quickly switched to Dominican in Game 4, as the Lady Chargers hit .400 for the game to wrap up the match.

Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) sparked the Cougar offense with a career-high 42 assists to go with 11 digs on defense. Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) had a team-best 16 kills, Ciesla tallied 14 kills and freshman Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) had 12. Freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) recorded 16 digs defensively for Caldwell. Dominican's Theresa Hanneman had 15 kills and Kinikia Collier had 10 kills in the win.

Freshman outside hitter Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) led the Cougars with seven kills, while fellow freshman Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) had six kills and a team-best nine digs. Philadelphia's Emily Krauss had 16 kills and Lauren Hoover dished out 35 assists in the win.

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - The Caldwell College volleyball team was defeated by Bloomfield College in three games, 30-10, 30-27, 30-22 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Thursday night at the Bloomfield Gymnasium. The Cougars, who ended a 31-match losing streak on Tuesday with a win over Felician College, are now 1-15 overall and 1-5 in the conference, while the Deacons improve to 5-13, 4-1 CACC.

Junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) and freshman Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham), right, each had six kills to pace the Cougars offensively. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) recorded a team-best 12 digs while dishing out 17 assists. Ursula Pereira led Bloomfield with 14 kills.

VICTORY FOR COUGAR VOLLEYBALL ENDS 31-MATCH SKID

CALDWELL, N.J. - After losing all 31 matches since re-establishing its volleyball program, Caldwell College won its first match by defeating Felician College, 30-17, 27-30, 30-24, 30-17 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest Tuesday evening in the George R. Newman Center. The victory gives the Cougars a 1-14 record on the season and a 1-4 mark in the conference. Felician is now 0-11 overall, 0-4 CACC.

Caldwell discontinued its volleyball program in 1991, then brought the sport back to campus last fall. The victory is also the first for head coach Megan Hrbek, who came to Caldwell in 2006 to rebuild the program.

The Cougars took control early in Game 1 and never looked back, winning just its second game this season. In the second game, Caldwell trailed 21-12 before battling back to tie the game at 22-22. The comeback fell just short, as the Golden Falcons scored the last two points to take the game 30-27 and tie the match at 1-1. Game 3 remained close throughout. With Caldwell clinging to a 24-22 advantage, six straight Cougar points helped propel Caldwell to a 30-24 win.

Momentum remained with the Scarlet, White and Gold in the fourth and deciding game, with the Cougars building a 20-8 lead and never looking back. Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) had eight kills and junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, Il/Lane Tech) recorded five kills in the final game to help Caldwell set a season record of 18 kills in the final game.

Roesing finished with career highs of 26 kills and 23 digs, while freshman middle blocker Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) recorded 11 kills and Ciesla had 10. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) also set a career high with 40 assists to spark the offense. She also had eight service aces. Defensively, junior libero Laura DeVico (Maywood, NJ/Hackensack) recorded 19 digs, with Kane adding 11 digs.

The Cougars will attempt to continue their winning ways when they play another CACC match at Bloomfield College on Thursday, Sept. 27. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.

CALDWELL COMPLETES PLAY AT EAST STROUDSBURG VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Caldwell College volleyball team wrapped up the East Stroudsburg University Tournament with two losses Saturday afternoon, falling to Kutztown University, 30-20, 30-6, 30-13, and to the host Warriors, 30-21, 30-22, 30-23. The Cougars are now 0-14 overall, while Kutztown is 15-2 and East Stroudsburg is 8-10.

Junior outside hitter Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech), pictured, was selected to the all-Tournament team after recording a team-best 20 digs in the Kutztown match. Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led Caldwell offensively in both matches, recording 10 kills against Kutztown and nine versus East Stroudsburg. She also had 11 digs in the day's second match. Junior libero Laura DeVico (Maywood, NJ/Hackensack) led the Cougars against the Warriors with 13 digs.

Next up for Caldwell is a home match against Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference foe Felician College on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the George R. Newman Center.

COUGARS LOSE A PAIR OF MATCHES AT EAST STROUDSBURG TOURNEY

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost both of its matches at the East Stroudsburg University Tournament Friday night. The Cougars fell to Shippensburg University, 30-13, 30-14, 30-19, then lost to the University of Bridgeport, 30-21, 30-19, 30-14. The results give the Cougars a season record of 0-12, while Shippensburg improves to 14-4 and Bridgeport moves to 12-6.

Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led the Cougars against Shippensburg with seven kills. In the Bridgeport match, junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) recorded seven kills and eight digs to pace Caldwell.

Caldwell continues play on Saturday with matches against Kutztown University and the host Warriors at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively.

WATERBURY, Conn. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost a three-game match to Post University, 30-16, 32-30, 30-26 Thursday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest in the Drubner Center. The defeat gives the Cougars an 0-4 record in the conference and an 0-10 mark overall, while the Eagles improve to 2-8 overall, 2-0 CACC.

After losing the first game, the Cougars built a 24-19 lead in Game 2. Post came back with nine straight points to lead 28-24, but two kills by freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) helped Caldwell tie the game at 30-30. However, Vicky Ducharme and Kerry Smith recorded back-to-back kills to give Post a 32-30 win.

Roesing finished with a team-high 12 kills, while freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.), pictured, had 27 assists for the Cougars. Defensively, freshman libero Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) recorded 12 digs. Smith led all players with 15 kills, with Desere Obregon dishing out 37 assists for Post.

The Cougars head to the East Stroudsburg University Tournament on Sept. 21-22, where they will begin play against Shippensburg University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

NYACK, N.Y. - The Caldwell College volleyball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match to Nyack College, 32-30, 30-25, 30-22 Tuesday evening at Bowman Gymnasium. The loss keeps the Cougars winless at 0-9 on the season, including a record of 0-3 in conference matches, while Nyack improves to 2-4.

Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led all players with 15 kills on the night. She also recorded a team-high 16 digs defensively, as the Cougars set a season high with 73 digs. Junior Laura Ciesla (Chicago, IL/Lane Tech) and freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst), pictured, had 14 and 11 digs, respectively. Freshman Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) helped out the offense with 20 assists. Nyack was paced by Lacey McCabe's 11 kills and 10 digs.

The Cougars continue CACC play with a match at Post University on Thursday, Sept. 20. The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Waterbury. Conn.

VOLLEYBALL DROPS PAIR OF MATCHES AT HOLY FAMILY

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College volleyball team lost two matches at a tri-match at Holy Family University Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, Pa. The day began with a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to the host Tigers, 30-15, 30-20, 30-28. Then against the University of the District of Columbia, the Cougars fell 30-24, 23-30, 30-28, 30-22 to drop to 0-8 on the year. Statistics from the Holy Family match are not available.

In the UDC match, the Cougars tied the match at 1-1 by winning Game 2, 30-23. Freshman outside hitter Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) set career highs with 19 kills and 16 digs for the Cougars, while freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) recorded a career-best 38 assists. Besides Roesing defensively, junior Laura DeVico (Maywood, NJ/Hackensack) had 11 digs and sophomore Elizabeth Newcomb (Redondo Beach, CA/Redondo Union) and freshman Kathleen Estes (Lyndhurst, NJ/Lyndhurst) each had 10 digs. Also, freshman Keesha Francois (Elkins Park, PA/Cheltenham) recorded four solo blocks to go with one block assist.

Next up for Caldwell is a CACC match at Nyack College on Tuesday, Sept. 18. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Nyack, N.Y.

CALDWELL FALLS TO CONCORDIA IN VOLLEYBALL

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - The Caldwell College volleyball team was defeated by Concordia College in three games, 30-16, 30-22 and 30-23 in a non-conference match Thursday evening at the Meyer Athletic Center. With the loss, the Cougars are now 0-6 on the year, while Concordia improves to 5-4.

Freshman Cory Roesing (Secaucus, NJ/Secaucus) led the Caldwell offense with nine kills, while sophomore Elizabeth Newcomb (Redondo Beach, CA/Redondo Union), pictured, and freshman Justine Pecora (Clifton, NJ/Mt. St. Dominic Acad.) each recorded a team-high 10 digs defensively. Freshman setter Kendra Kane (Secaucus, NJ/Lacordaire Acad.) dished out 21 assists for the Cougars. Tiffany Edwards had 14 kills to pace the Clippers.

The Cougars return to action on Saturday, Sept. 15 for a tri-match at Holy Family University. Caldwell plays the host Tigers at 12:00 p.m. in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match before facing the University of the District of Columbia at 2:00 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa.

RIVERS NAMED ASSISTANT VOLLEYBALL COACH AT CALDWELL

Sept. 10, 2007 - Caldwell College Executive Director of Athletics Mark A. Corino has announced that Alicia Rivers has been hired as assistant volleyball coach at Caldwell College. Rivers will assist head coach Megan Hrbek with the volleyball program, which is in its second year as an intercollegiate sport at Caldwell. (more)
