COYLE NAMED CACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

CALDWELL, N.J. - Sophomore guard Shannon Coyle (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the league announced today. Coyle is the first Cougar women's basketball player to win the award this season.

In Caldwell's 67-61 victory over the college of St. Rose on Saturday, Coyle scored a team-high 15 points and added seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. She also made two of her six attempts from three-point range as the Cougars defeated a team from the Northeast-10 Conference for the first time since becoming an NCAA Division II institution.

Coyle and the Cougars (3-5 overall, 2-2 CACC) return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 29, when they travel to New Haven, Conn., to face Southern Connecticut State in Caldwell's final non-conference game of the season.
