BLOOMFIELD,
N.J. - The Caldwell College women's basketball team lost a Central Atlantic

at the Bloomfield Gymnasium. The Cougars, who fell to the Deacons earlier
this season, are now 8-10 overall and 6-7 in the conference, while the

Caldwell used an 11-0 run, sparked by nine points from senior guard

lead at the 10:50 mark of the first half. But Bloomfield took control of the
game at that point, reeling off 29 points to just three for Caldwell to grab
a 39-25 lead with 1:35 left in the half. A three-pointer by junior guard
Khaliqa Davis (Newark, NJ/Bloomfield Tech) and four points from Coyle
helped the Cougars close the gap to 39-32 before halftime.
The Deacons built the lead back up to 17 after an 8-0 run made the score
62-45 with 8:47 remaining. Caldwell was able to reduce the deficit to 77-71
with a three by Coyle with 40 seconds on the clock. But time ran out for the
Cougars, who lost to the Deacons for the eighth straight time.

40 minutes. Sophomore forward Mackenzie Lynch (Wayne, NJ/DePaul
Catholic) had 16 points and eight rebounds, Davis finished with 12 points,
