LAMBERT NAMED CACC CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

CALDWELL, N.J. - Caldwell College freshman guard Kaitlyn Lambert (Cumberland, RI/Cumberland) was selected the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending Feb. 8, the league announced today. This is the fourth CACC Rookie of the Week honor this season for Lambert, who averaged 14.5 points and 5.0 rebounds as the Cougars split a pair of conference games last week.

In a 68-56 victory over Post University on Feb. 3 in Caldwell, Lambert scored a career-high 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field. She also grabbed six rebounds and had two assists and two steals. Lambert had eight points and four rebounds in a loss at the University of the Sciences on Saturday.

For the season, Lambert is averaging 10.5 points and 5.7 rebounds to rank third on the team in both categories. Earlier this season, she was named CACC Rookie of the Week on Nov. 17, Dec. 8 and Dec. 22. No other player in the conference has been named Rookie of the Week more than twice this year.

Lambert and the Cougars continue CACC play with a game at Felician College on Tuesday, Feb. 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Lodi, N.J.
