HARRIERS TAKE EIGHTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Caldwell College women's cross country
team finished in eighth place out of 10 teams at the Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon
at Belmont Plateau. The Cougars also received the conference's
Sportsmanship Award for the 2004 season.
Sophomore Shannon Coyle (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) led the
way for the Cougars with a 31st place finish, followed closely by
fellow sophomore Lauren O'Connell (South Amboy, NJ/St. John Vianney)
in 35th. Junior Katie Doster (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) came
across the line in 40th, sophomore Amy Ransom (Chattanooga, TN/USC-Aiken)
was 43rd, freshman Katie Bordiuk (West Long Branch, NJ/Shore
Regional) was 55th and sophomore Erin Doyle (Spring Lake
Heights, NJ/Manasquan) was 57th.
The CACC meet marks the end of the 2004 season for
the Caldwell cross country team, which completes its second season as
a varsity program.
