O'CONNELL, DOSTER COMPETE AT NCAA EAST REGIONAL

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - For the first time in the program's
three-year history, the Caldwell College cross country team competed
at the NCAA East Regional Meet, held at Lock Haven University's West
Branch Cross Country Course. Senior Katie Doster (Wayne,
NJ/Wayne Valley) and junior Lauren O'Connell (South Amboy,
NJ/St. John Vianney) represented the Cougars in the 6,000-meter race,
which determined the teams and individuals from the East Region that
will compete at the NCAA Division II national meet. O'Connell finished
163rd and Doster took 169th. The meet ends the 2005 season for the
Cougars, who are coached by John Tosato.
