COUGAR HARRIERS PLACE SECOND AT DOMINICAN INVITATIONAL

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. - The Caldwell College cross country team finished in second at the three-team Dominican College Invitational Monday afternoon at Tallman State Park. The Cougars recorded 40 points to finish behind the host Chargers and ahead of St. Thomas Aquinas College. Bloomfield College also competed but did not enter a complete team.

Sophomore Jaclyn Feola (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) paced the Cougars with a fifth-place finish overall. She was followed closely by senior Lisa Dunphy (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) in eighth place. Sophomore Sydney Day (Houston, TX/Stratford) took 11th in her first collegiate race, while freshman Stephanie Cadet (Elmont, NY/Elmont), pictured, placed 13th and sophomore Danielle Cleary (Rockaway Twp., NJ/Morris Knolls) finished 18th.

Caldwell competes at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13 in the team's final tune-up before the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships on Oct. 20.
