SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. - The Caldwell College women's soccer team lost to LIU-Southampton 3-0 in a non-conference match Wednesday afternoon. The Cougars dropped to 2-5-1 on the season, while the Colonials, who are ranked No. 8 in the nation, remained unbeaten at 8-0-1.

 

Denise Domena and Annelie Andersson scored first-half goals for the Colonials. Katarina Bone closed out the scoring with a goal in the 50th minute.

 

Junior goalkeeper Richelle Morse (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) made 12 saves in 62 minutes of action, while freshman netminder Jen Borden (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) made two saves and did not allow a goal in her 28 minutes of action.

 

The Cougars women's soccer team hosts Goldey-Beacom College in an important Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match on Saturday, Oct. 2. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m.
