WOMEN'S TENNIS LOSES TO MONTCLAIR STATE, 7-2

MONTCLAIR, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team was defeated by Montclair State, 7-2 Monday afternoon. The loss dropped the Cougars to 8-4-1 on the season, while the Red Hawks improved to 4-7.

The Cougars got wins from junior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Rutgers) at No. 1 singles and junior Kristi Godfrey (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon) at No. 5 singles. With her victory over Eva Alierno, Manoukian remained unbeaten on the season with a perfect 11-0 record in singles matches.

The Cougars complete their season this weekend at the NJAIAW Tournament Oct. 23-24 at Drew University in Madison, N.J.
