N.J.I.T. DOWNS COUGARS IN WOMEN'S TENNIS

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference dual with N.J.I.T. 7-2 Wednesday afternoon at the Caldwell Tennis Courts. The loss dropped the Cougars' conference record to 2-4 and overall mark to 3-4.

Senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Reg.) lost for the first time in 18 team duals as a Cougar, falling to Julia Doci, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Caldwell lost all seven matches contested, while receiving two points for forfeits.

Next up for the Cougars is a non-conference dual at Rutgers-Newark on Friday, Sept. 30, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
