WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS AT RUTGERS-NEWARK

NEWARK, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference dual to Rutgers-Newark 7-2 Friday afternoon. With the loss, the Cougars are now 3-5 on the season.

Senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Reg.) improved to 7-1 in singles this season with a straight-set win at No. 1 singles. Manoukian combined with senior Erin O'Neill (River Edge, NJ/Barnstable Academy) to pick up the Cougars' other point with a victory at No. 1 doubles.

Caldwell's next team dual is on Tuesday, Oct. 4, when they play host to Georgian Court University beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Caldwell Tennis Courts.
