FRANTELLIZZI NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

CALDWELL, N.J. - Freshman Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) was chosen the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's Rookie of the Week in women's tennis for the week ending Sept. 24, the conference announced today. Additionally, senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley Reg.) received honorable mention.

Frantellizzi won both of her matches at No. 1 doubles last week, pairing with sophomore Jacquelynn Ross (Millburn, NJ/Mondeor) in an 8-1 win against Goldey-Beacom, and with Manoukian for an 8-0 victory over Post. She also won her lone singles match of the week at No. 3 singles in Caldwell's 9-0 win at Post.

Manoukian did not lose a game in her two victories at No. 1 singles last week, earning 6-0, 6-0 wins against Goldey-Beacom and Post.

The Cougars return to action on Tuesday, Sept. 26, when they play at FDU-Madison, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
