COUGARS BEAT SPARTANS IN WOMEN'S TENNIS, 7-2

 CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team won all three
doubles matches en route to a 7-2 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas College in
a non-conference dual Tuesday afternoon at the Caldwell College Tennis
Courts. The win gives the Cougars a 5-6 record on the season.
Caldwell cruised through the three doubles matches, with senior Oksana Manoukian (Old Tappan, NJ/Northern Valley
Regional) and freshman
Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) winning at No. 1
doubles, 8-1. The Cougars' No. 2 team of senior Joellen Keaney (Oak Bluffs,
MA/Martha's Vineyard) and sophomore
Emilie Skidmore (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) picked up an 8-5
victory, while the No. 3 team of senior Danielle O'Connell (South Amboy,
NJ/St. John Vianney) and freshman Jessica Ouderkirk (Syracuse, NY/Westhill)
won 8-4.
In singles, Manoukian, Keaney, Frantellizzi and sophomore Laura
Sinisgallo (Colonia, NJ/Mother Seton) each won their matches at first,
third, fourth and sixth singles, respectively.
The Cougars play their third match in as many days when they host Molloy
College on Wednesday, Oct. 4, beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College
Tennis Courts.
