FDU-MADISON EDGES WOMEN'S TENNIS, 5-4

CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis team lost a
non-conference dual with FDU-Madison, 5-4 Saturday afternoon at the Caldwell
College Tennis Courts. With the loss, the Cougars are now 2-7 overall.
Junior Emilie Skidmore (Pompton Plains, NJ/Pequannock Twp.) won her
match at first singles over Robin Hargesheimer, 6-2, 6-2. She also was
victorious at first doubles with freshman partner Kirsty Leedham
(Ellesmere Port, England/Cheshire Acad.). The Cougars won via walkover at
sixth singles and third doubles.
The Cougars return to the courts on Monday, Oct. 1 when the play at
Philadelphia University.
