WOMEN'S TENNIS CHOSEN SEVENTH IN CACC PRESEASON POLL

8-26-08
CALDWELL, N.J. - The Caldwell College women's tennis squad was ranked seventh in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll, the league announced. Holy Family University was the unanimous choice to capture its third straight CACC crown, garnering all eight first-place votes in the poll.

The Cougars, coached by Michael Lukacs, have five student-athletes back from last year's team that placed seventh with a 1-6 record in conference duals. Junior Brittni Frantellizzi (Binghamton, NY/Susquehanna Valley) has won 11 singles matches in her two seasons to lead the returning players.

Caldwell opens its 2008 schedule with a CACC dual with Holy Family on Saturday, Sept. 6. The matches begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Caldwell College Tennis Courts.
