NDHLOVU, SAITO TO COMPETE IN CACC INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Caldwell College women's tennis players Olga Ndhlovu
(Bergenfield, NJ/Bergenfield) and Chiaki Saito (Tokyo, Japan) are set
to participate in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Individual
Tournament, held at Chestnut Hill College on Oct. 17-18. Ndhlovu will
compete in both the singles and doubles draws, while Saito will partner with
Ndhlovu for the doubles tournament.
Ndhlovu led the Cougars in singles victories with a record of 5-9 in her
first collegiate season. Against CACC competition, she is 3-4, including 2-3
against players in this weekend's singles tournament. Ndhlovu and Saito
formed the Cougars' top doubles tandem for nine of the team's 14 duals,
compiling a record of 3-6 at No. 1 doubles. They are 2-3 against doubles
teams entered in the CACC doubles tournament.
The Cougars, coached by Michael Lukacs, finished the season with a
2-12 overall record and placed seventh with a 1-6 mark in the conference.
Philadelphia University captured the CACC Team title yesterday with a 6-3
victory over Holy Family University in the finals.
