Head Womens Cross Country Coach

  • Responsibilities/Description: Caldwell College invites applications for a Head Women’s Cross Country Coach. Reporting to the Executive Director, Athletics, the Head Coach is responsible for directing, supervising and overseeing all activities of the coaching staff and team while communicating and integrating the mission of the College and the philosophy of the Athletics Department into the program. Job Duties include, but are not limited to, advising the Athletics staff and Cross Country team of CACC and NCAA rules and policies and ensuring compliance with those rules and policies, supervising all games, scrimmages and practices, recruiting student-athletes and recommending students who should receive athletic grant and scholarships, directing, supervising, and evaluating assistant coaches, working with compliance office to maintain accurate records, surveying opponents when applicable, supplying the Sports Information Director with team and individual student athlete information, preparing and submitting the annual budget, , ensuring travel arrangements, driving if necessary, overseeing the preparation, distribution, and collection of equipment inventory for the tennis program, developing and executing the team philosophy, representing the institution at meetings and conferences, and participating in various College and Athletic functions.
  • Education/Requirements: Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, plus three to four years of effective experience required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
