Assistant or Associate Professor, Applied Behavioral Analysis

- Responsibilities/Description: Caldwell College seeks an Assistant or Associate level tenure-track faculty member for its graduate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis (Post-Masters, Master of Arts in ABA, and Ph.D. in ABA) to begin Fall 2010. Salary is commensurate with experience. Job duties include teaching courses in the following areas (depending on expertise): basic and applied behavior analysis, developmental disabilities/autism, learning, research methods and ABA program development, chairing student Master’s thesis and Doctoral dissertation research, making scholarly contributions, developing grant opportunities, assisting in the development of an on-campus ABA/Autism center, serving on college committees, providing student advisement, and contributing to community service.
- Education/Requirements: Doctorate (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) from a graduate program with an emphasis on behavior analysis, successful college teaching experience, applied/clinical experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental delays, successful experience supervising student research projects in applied behavior analysis, Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA) certification (or be eligible to sit for the BCBA® exam) required. Required to teach day, evening, and summer classes as needed. Candidates must be willing to support the Dominican Catholic liberal arts mission of the College.
