Three-Fold Purpose
History
The Beta Beta Beta Biological Society was founded by Dr. Frank G. Brooks and his students at Oklahoma City University in 1922. By 1925, TriBeta became a national honor society as the concept of a society for biology students rapidly spread throughout colleges and universities around the nation. The society is divided by regional and district groups that hold conventions annually.
Membership
| Associate Membership (Must have a general interest in the biological sciences | Membership Fee: $20 |
| Regular Membership (Must complete 3 credit courses in the biological sciences, 1 of which may not be an introductory course, and a biological science major) | Membership Fee: $30 (those who are already Associate Members pay only the remaining $10) |
